Why the DNC of 2026-2028 is Much More Threatening

Even the brash and belligerant Stephen A admits that the Democrat Party is over if Zohran becomes their identity:

The radical left DNC party has been doubling down on some of its crazy social views in 2025. However, these types of policies are the least of our worries, as some of the new policies proposed in recent years would have a massive impact on economic growth.

The threat of cultural Marxism reaching the United States at significant levels has been growing in 2025. These dangerous ideas have gradually grown as the youth population begins to reach the voting age and enter the real economy.

New York City may become even more of a basket case in future months if it elects a new DNC mayor, one that makes Bernie Sanders and AOC seem moderate. His toxic cultural ideas would threaten food security, the real estate industry, and the appeal of New York as a destination for companies.

In many ways, Mamdani is an embodiment of the future DNC, the party that clung to socialism after failing miserably.

They have substantially lost the culture war and failed on the economy, yet only feel emboldened to dive deeper into full-blown socialism. We have much more to lose economically in the coming years if the DNC grows in power and becomes even more radical.

The DNC Goes Further Left

The DNC has been running around like a chicken with its head cut off after its embarrassing defeat in 2024. Instead of moving closer to the center, like some politicians have been doing, the party seems to be doubling down on its madness.

During the primary elections in New York City, the city surprised the world by choosing a young Democratic Socialist over traditional choices like Cuomo.

The new motto of the left seems to be pushing against Trump at all costs, even after voters made it clear what they wanted.

Mamdani is a serious threat to the country if this is the status quo of the Democratic Party in the next 2-4 years. He embodies many of the ideas that have destroyed the social fabric and economic state of the United States. However, many people still overlook all of these flaws because of his grandiose claims of fixing social issues.

In the past, these views were limited to a handful of radical DNC members, but it appears that this impact is spreading quickly.

Mamdani has introduced anti-Semitic legislation, which fines companies $1 million for funding certain Israeli groups. He also has a plethora of dangerous economic ideas, including state-controlled real estate and grocery stores, actions that have historically proven to be dangerous.

In reality, the left’s hyper-focus on woke social issues was a blessing for the right. These ideas were easy to defeat because the right focused on the true economic pains of the country. But the DNC is currently taking a much more dangerous turn, one in which these toxic social ideologies more forcefully blend with economic principles, potentially unleashing a dangerous new era in American economics if they are left unchecked.

The right needs to continue fighting the culture war, arguably much harder, given that the left is shifting towards even more radical ideals.

A Plethora of Illogical Economic Ideas

New York may well be on its way to becoming the new California of the world if it continues introducing new economic measures that will drive businesses away from the state.

Notably, Mamdani has anticipated this shift and has implemented even more draconian legislation that will make it difficult for companies to evade his new tax laws. New York’s current tax rate is 9%, but Mamdani hopes to be able to raise it by 2.5 percentage points if elected. To stop companies from evading this tax, Mamdani plans to make it mandatory for all businesses operating in the state, even ones that have decided to leave and set up shop in more business-friendly states.

The wealthy in New York are also at risk, as there may be an exit tax and other forms of wealth taxes that harm them. Never mind the fact that the top 1% pay over 45% of federal income taxes already. Logic and math are irrelevant to these cultural Marxists on the left.

Any erroneous economic idea that the left has been pushing for years is that raising the minimum wage will fix all of the economic issues in the country, including unaffordable housing. Mamdani wants to raise New York’s minimum wage to $30/hour by 2030, an action that will surely be inflationary.

Politicians like Mamdani have also been focusing on rent control laws in bigger cities, measures which have been proven to fail decade after decade. Economists like Sowell have already shown how cities with rent control actually witness substantial increases in rent prices.

The economically illiterate left also fails to understand supply-side economics, among many other things. The supply chain issues of the early 2020s, coupled with the Fed’s foolish QE policies, inevitably caused inflation to kick in. Yet, leftist politicians claim that corporate greed caused this inflation.

So what is Mamdani’s solution to this issue? A government-run grocery store that is subsidized and charges artificially lower prices out of the goodness of its heart. The future pushback is easy to anticipate, and CEOs are already making it clear how they will react.

These ideas are divorced from the private market and logic. Companies will simply pull out of New York City, which will only exacerbate the city’s issues.

The hallmark of any Marxist campaign is offering free stuff to the population while squawking about the issues of capitalism. Madmani plans to offer free rent for city grocery stores, free bus fares, and free childcare for the city.

Good luck paying for all of this free stuff when wealthy individuals and companies begin to look elsewhere. Businesses will go where they are treated best, and no form of draconian ironclad laws will stop them. New York City will fall, and businesses will be out the door as fast as they can move. The cultural Marxists in this city will continue to demand more programs as their tax base shrinks, and the end result will be utter failure, just like every Marxist experiment that has ever been attempted.

The Rising Threat of the Left

Things were a lot better when the left had more of a laser focus on pronouns, LGBTQ, and the “climate crisis”. However, the party is taking a much more dangerous turn with its economic policies, which are heavily rooted in cultural Marxism. Politicians like Mamdani, who gain power at the state and federal levels, pose a massive threat to the country.

Cities like NYC have become bedrocks of crime and have wasted excessive money on illegal immigrants. At a certain point, the spending on illegal immigrants will exceed that of the New York Police Department, at a time when crime is skyrocketing.

Mamdani has made his views clear. He wants to defund and dismantle the police, while continuing to use taxpayer money to house illegal immigrants in hotels. He wants to actively work against ICE and continue supporting illegal immigration.

Mamdani wants to Trump-proof New York City, which may inevitably result in more clashes with the federal government.

The left is dead set on destroying the country and standing in the way of efforts to bring peace and prosperity to the country. Mamdani is the beginning of something that is not only dangerous to NYC, but also to the rest of the country if this model spreads to other cities and states. He has even stated that he believes crime is a social construct. The left is a radical party that poses an immense danger to the country.
